J.T. Barrett runs a circle drill with fan at Student Appreciation Day

Saturday was Student Appreciation Day in Columbus, and of course the turnout for spring practice was nothing short of impressive.

Fans always love seeing players go toe-to-toe in the circle drill, but they never really get to participate themselves. Just as rare is seeing a quarterback (especially a starting quarterback) participate in the drill.

Ohio State showed their appreciation in spades by allowing both rare cases to take place Saturday. A young female fan went head-to-head against Buckeyes starting quarterback J.T. Barrett in their very own circle drill.

Lori Schmidt of Columbus’ 97.1 The Fan has the video of J.T. Barrett “defeating” the young woman in the Circle Drill. Surely this was a thrill for her to be face-to-face with one of the Buckeyes.

Surely Urban Meyer won’t be allowing Barrett step into the circle against any other opponent remotely stronger than that ever.
