Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco’s recovery from ACL surgery appears to be going well, as he was well enough to shoot a few baskets at former teammate Torrey Smith’s charity basketball game.
Video of Flacco shooting hoops, albeit somewhat gingerly, was posted to Vine. Check it out below!

“To be honest with you, I believe [I’m on track for training camp], but it’s not like I’ve been told a timeline or anything like that,” Flacco told reporters, via the Ravens’ website. “I can’t really say one way or another,” he said. “I can tell each week that by the end of the week I’m feeling sore and I’m hurting, and by the next Monday I’m feeling better than I did last Monday.”
Flacco tore his ACL in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns last season as the Ravens finished 5-11, the team’s first sub-.500 record since 2007, the year before Flacco was drafted out of Delaware.
The fact that he’s feeling so positive about his rehab and is able to play casual basketball has to be a good sign, so Ravens fans should be excited for the 2016 season.
