Mixed martial arts fans have been wondering when former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will return to the Octagon. There is no date currently set in stone, but UFC president Dana White says a Rousey return is coming by the end of the year.
White discussed a dinner conversation with Rousey during a recent interview with TMZ.
Rousey has not appeared in the Octagon since her loss to Holly Holm last November. Rousey has been focusing on a number of opportunities outside of the cage while she recovered from injuries suffered in the knockout loss to Holm.
Now, when exactly could Ronda Rousey’s attempt at redemption take place?
How does November sound? Not only would that be one year removed from Rousey’s stunning loss to Holm, it would allow her to be available for the UFC’s debut in New York which is currently targeted for Madison Square Garden.
