‘The Simpsons’ want Villanova to win national championship

With the NCAA Tournament final just over nine hours away, this is the time where everyone comes out of the woodwork to root for their favorite team or jump on another’s bandwagon.

“The Simpsons” did just that last night when Bart Simpson showed his true colors on who he was rooting for.

The North Carolina Tar Heels and Villanova Wildcats face off for the championship and the Simpson boy was in a little trouble in the opening sequence. When he was shown writing on the chalkboard, it was pretty clear that he was wanting the latter team to win as it said “If Villanova doesn’t win, we lose everything.”

Apparently, the Simpsons are now on the Villanova Bandwagon.https://t.co/lnGDERrf0T pic.twitter.com/pzqqsDNsa2

I don’t know exactly what that means, but it’s pretty clear that the producers want to see the Wildcats get back to the promised land. This is probably the feeling of many fans that don’t support the Carolina blue and white.

Whatever happens, this should be a fun night for every basketball fan around. Fans and “The Simpsons” crew can check out the game tonight on TBS at 9:19 p.m. EST.
