Villanova won its first national championship in basketball in over 30 years last night, and play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz gave Ryan Arcidiacono a prize that was not just a simple commemorative t-shirt, baseball cap, trophy or plaque.
Rather, per Daniel Gotera of KHOU-TV in Houston, a local CBS affiliate, Nantz gave the Wildcats senior his tie.

Personal Final Four tradition? Jim, you’re great at what you do, but leave the players alone. I understand you value your own personal traditions and the relationship you had with your dad, but leave players you hardly know out of it. That’s just creepy.
