The 2016 NCAA Tournament wrapped up earlier this week with one of the best championship games we have ever witnessed and now it is time to turn our attention towards the future.
In fact, the 2017 NCAA Tournament odds have already been released and the Duke Blue Devils are back on top.
The Blue Devils will have one of the top recruiting classes for the 2016-17 season and may only be losing a few players from this past season. After making it to the Sweet Sixteen in this year’s tournament, it probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Duke is on top right now.
The Blue Devils currently have 9-2 odds to win the championship next year with the Kentucky Wildcats next in line at 6-1. The Villanova Wildcats, who will be the defending champions, come in at third with 8-1 odds and the North Carolina Tar Heels have 15-1 odds.
Here are the top 12 odds to win the 2017 NCAA Tournament per wagertalk.com:
Michigan State 12-1
North Carolina 15-1
The 2016-17 basketball season is still seven months away, but it is never too early to start placing bets, right?
