The LSU Tigers are pretty well known for their “Big Cat” drill that they run every spring practice and it is one of the most energetic drills in all of college football. Last year, a fight broke out during the drill, but they were lucky enough not to have that happen this year.
The Tigers have just ten days before taking the field for their spring game. They kicked off Wednesday’s practice with their one-on-one drill and it was just as intense as ever.
No matter how you look at this drill, it is mostly about letting a bunch of 18-21 year old college students blow off some steam and get excited about football practice. LSU is expected to be one of the best teams in the SEC this year and this proves that they are certainly one of the most passionate.
The Tigers take the field for their spring game in Tiger Stadium on April 16 with it being broadcast on SEC Network at 3 p.m. EST.
