Maker’s Mark commemorates 1978 Kentucky team with special bottle

Most sports fans like to enjoy some kind of alcoholic drink while taking in their favorite sport, whether it be beer, a mixed drink, or just a glass of hard liquor. For most Kentucky Wildcat fans, they certainly love their whiskey.

Maker’s Mark whiskey is one of the most premiere whiskeys in the country, especially in the state the Wildcats call home. Last year, the company created a bottle featuring former Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp and the four championships he brought to the school and they outdid themselves this year by releasing a bottle that commemorates the Wildcat team that won the national championship over Duke in 1978 and it looks awesome.

What is even cooler about this bottle is that many of the players from that championship team will be available to sign bottles of it at Keeneland Racecourse on April 15 and that is certainly an experience worth taking a trip for.

Only Kentucky would get a whiskey named after them.
