Utah State wide receiver Devonte Robinson ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.30 seconds at the Aggies’ pro day today, according to a video posted to Utah State football’s official Twitter.

The timing is unofficial, of course, but it’s also important to note that Robinson did not take part at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this year. Had he done so, perhaps he would have been faster than Georgia running back Keith Marshall, who ran a 4.31 forty.
And perhaps Robinson has done a fine job of upping his NFL Draft stock with the big weekend just a couple of weeks away. He only had 44 catches for 552 yards and four touchdowns across two seasons with the Aggies after transferring from West Virginia, but speed is speed. His numbers may not be the prettiest, but his speed alone could be enough to make a few teams consider taking a flier on him on Day 3.
