Peyton Manning consults John Madden about NFL Analyst job

Since Peyton Manning announced his decision to retire from professional football in March, little is known about what he wants to do next with his life. He’s already a legendary football player, but he’s still got a lot of life left.

Shortly after, and even before, he officially announced his retirement, speculation arose about whether or not Manning would consider becoming an NFL analyst. He’s certainly got the football expertise required for the job.

CBS offered him the job and Manning appears to be coming close to making a decision. Sources say that Manning consulted John Madden, who has plenty of TV experience, for his opinion on the matter.

According to The Big Lead, Madden told Manning,”Go the Elway path or get a piece of ownership.”

It’s been speculated that Manning has considered stake in the Tennessee Titans, which would make sense given his history. However, nothing sure has been revealed regarding any official decisions from the former QB.
