John Kasich wants day after Super Bowl to be national holiday

GOP presidential candidate John Kasich trails drastically in the polls and only has hopes of receiving the party’s nomination in an open convention this summer, but that doesn’t mean the Ohio Governor is letting up with his campaign.

In fact, Kasich is taking things to a new level and may have shared a stance that all sports fans can get behind.

During a recent interview with Dan Patrick, John Kasich revealed he would like to turn the Monday after the Super Bowl into a national holiday. Considering we all know how unproductive the following day at work can be, this is a fantastic idea.

Kasich even went as far as to say he could achieve this sports-friendly law in his first 100 days in office.

I think he just locked up some extra votes.
