Former Ohio State star Braxton Miller and Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer today took to Twitter today to mourn the death of former Ohio State and New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith, who was murdered early this morning in a road rage incident.
Needless to say, both Meyer and Miller were shocked by Smith’s death.
Man he was with his wife, sad to hear things like this still going on. Long live a legendary buckeye, prayers for Will S91 & his family šš¾.

Smith was shot inside his car during an argument over a fender-bender. The assailant, Cardell Hayes, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and the gun has been recovered. Smith’s wife, Racquel, was shot in the leg during the incident while Smith himself was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is a terrible day not only for Ohio State and Smith’s family, but for the NFL as a whole.
Campus Sports sends its sincere condolences to Smith’s loved ones and will update this story accordingly.
