Class of 2016 five-star small forward Josh Jackson has committed to play at Kansas next season, according to a post on his Twitter.

Jackson, who will graduate from California’s Prolific Prep later this year, chose Kansas over Michigan State and Arizona. The McDonald’s All-American made an interesting choice in spurning the Spartans, as he is originally from the Detroit area.
But he will instead head to a Kansas team that could look very different next season. Seniors Perry Ellis, Frank Mason III and Wayne Selden Jr. are all moving on, meaning that the Jayhawks will be relying on guys like Carlton Bragg, DevontĂ© Graham and maybe even Cheick Diallo to continue the team’s winning tradition.
Throw Josh Jackson and his ability to create offense into the mix, not to mention what could very well be a much-improved long range shooting game, and the Jayhawks could easily find themselves in the national title picture after getting as far as the Elite Eight in 2016.
