UNC receives adorable consolation letters from kids

The mark of any great sports fan is one that gets their children involved in fandom early, and some North Carolina Tar Heels fans clearly did just that with their children and thus raised the bar when it comes to adorable gestures, with an assist going to a schoolteacher at Durham’s Triangle Day School.

In the video below, the children of Triangle Day got together and wrote consolation letters for North Carolina’s basketball team, who lost to Villanova in the 2016 NCAA Tournament final a week ago.

Check out the video below.

I seriously don’t know what’s more amazing. The fact that the kids put so much effort into their letters, or that some are truly sincere about what they did without seeming to realize just how devastating a loss it was.
Either way, UNC’s players should appreciate these letters greatly because in the agony defeat, any small consolation goes a long way.
