College football spring games are a huge source of excitement for football programs. Ohio State has added an additional element of excitement to their upcoming spring game by inviting alumni of the Buckeye’s program to participate in the game, alongside current players.
Former Buckeyes will compete in various activities at Ohio Stadium this weekend. Former quarterback Cardale Jones will compete against J.T. Barrett in a QB skills competition at halftime. Former Buckeyes’ Vonn Bell, Eli Apple, Ezekiel Elliott, Darron Lee, Tyvis Powell and Jalin Marshall will help in the student race.
And former OSU standouts Anthony Schlegel, Kirk Barton, Jimmy Cordle, Bobby Carpenter and Taylor Decker will compete in an offensive line/defensive line catch-a-punt contest.
Ohio State’s Urban Meyer announced the news, today, via Twitter.
