NFL Draft 2016: ESPN announces commentators for Draft Day

ESPN has announced its commentary team for the NFL Draft later this month. Needless to say, it’s quite the squad.

Round 1 of the draft, on Thursday and Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday will be broadcast in primetime from Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre, and Chris Berman will be the host for Round 1 along with known draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr., Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden and Front Office Insider Louis Riddick. NFL Insider Adam Schefter will provide reports and Suzy Kolber will interview draftees.

On Friday, Trey Wingo will take over for Berman and be joined by Kiper, Riddick, Schefter and draft analyst Todd McShay. The remaining rounds on Saturday will be broadcast outside from Chicago’s Grant Park.

Reporting from various team sites will be the following: Sal Paolantonio, Josina Anderson, Bob Holtzman, Ed Werder, Shelley Smith and Britt McHenry. ESPN Radio will also broadcast the first three rounds with Dari Nowkhah, former Colts executive and Front Office Insider Bill Polian, and NFL Insider John Clayton.

ESPN looks like it’s going to be going all out from an analysis standpoint on Draft Day, so be sure to tune in come April 28 and stay tuned to Campus Sports for further NFL Draft updates!
