Former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott will definitely be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft later this month and according to Elliott himself, the Philadelphia Eagles are the team that have shown the most interest in drafting him.
Elliott’s comments were posted to Twitter by James Walker of ESPN.

The Eagles hold the No. 8 pick and could definitely use a bell cow running back like Elliott, but the Dallas Cowboys have also shown interest in potentially drafting him at No. 4. GM Howie Roseman has implied that he could be interested in trading up, but Dallas also has greater needs than running back and could easily select Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey with the fourth pick.
Either way, one thing is certain. Elliott is a fantastic running back prospect and would be a catch for any team in the first round. At this point, it’s just a matter of wait-and-see in terms of who picks him.
