6-foot-7 QB Jelani Woods commits to Oklahoma State

On Friday night, Cedar Wood Grove High School quarterback Jelani Woods committed to Oklahoma State University. The 6-foot-7, 230 pound Ellenwood, Georgia native will be joining the Cowboys after he graduates high school in 2017.

He made his commitment public, and posted the news on his Twitter account.

Woods played on Cedar Wood’s varsity football team in both his sophomore and junior years. In his high school career, the signal caller has thrown for a total of 995 yards. Woods went 44/88 as a sophomore, and  20/35 passing his junior  year. The senior-to-be boasts a remarkable overall quarterback rating of 101.8 for his career.
