2016 NFL Color Rush could feature some shocking alternates

During the 2015 season, the NFL released a new promotion called the Color Rush, an initiative that saw several teams wear uniquely-themed uniforms. It was met with a ton of controversy, especially after the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets wore all-red and all-green respectively, leading to many pointing out that those suffering from color blindness were likely very confused in the game itself.

However, the Color Rush will return for the 2016 season and it looks like all teams will wear a special uniform at least once this year. Late Sunday night, a possible leak showed the uniforms this year and it was pretty clear that the team could be wearing some pretty unique combinations.

If you look closely, you can see that the Cincinnati Bengals are slated to wear some kind of tiger-stripe look, which could be pretty interesting, the Jacksonville Jaguars will bring back their gold look that was met with a lot of hate last season, and the Baltimore Ravens will be taking inspiration from the Maryland Terrapins and wearing a Maryland flag inspired uniform.

There is also the potential for the Pittsburgh Steelers to wear all-yellow, the Atlanta Falcons to suit up in silver and the Oakland Raiders to rock gold.

All of these uniforms look like they could be pretty interesting to see this year, but nothing is set in stone yet. In fact, this could be just a fake leak and all of it could be speculation.

This really comes down to what Nike wants in the end.
