The Cleveland Browns are “actively shopping” the No. 2 pick in next week’s NFL Draft, according to Jeff Darlington and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
.@JeffDarlington describes the #Browns as "actively shopping" No. 2, with Sashi Brown making calls inside the Top 10. Fun is just beginning.

This news comes on the heels of a report that the Browns were never planning on drafting a quarterback with the No. 2 pick after the Los Angeles Rams traded for the No. 1 overall selection, especially after it was reported that the Rams preferred California’s Jared Goff, Cleveland’s preferred option over North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz.
The good news is that there are plenty of teams that would love to trade with the Browns for the pick, particularly the quarterback-needy Philadelphia Eagles, who currently own the No. 8 pick and are apparently high on Wentz.
There’s still plenty of time left until Draft Day for a deal to go down, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on this story!
