Earlier this week, Mark Sanchez said that becoming the starter in Denver was “the most important thing in my life”.
The former Philadelphia Eagle and New York Jet has made quite the impression while in Denver upon many. The latest Bronco to take a liking to Sanchez is Emmanuel Sanders. Sanders seems to be impressed with Sanchez both on the field, and as a person.
“I was impressed by his arm strength. I was impressed with the throws he was making.”, Sanders stated, via ESPN. ” I’ve been here around the locker room and he’s been spending extra time in the facility. That’s the type of guy that we need. It’s going to be fun.”
Last year under center for the Eagles, Sanchez completed 64.8 percent of his passes. The quarterback also threw for a total of 4 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions to match.
Sanchez will be vying for the starting position against Trevor Siemian, and whichever other prospects that the Broncos may pick up between now and the regular season. Right now, he is focused on making the most of his head start against his competition.
