When it comes to the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, there has not been one player that has seen his stock fluctuate more than former Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah. He has gone from being a surefire top ten pick to one that might end up in the early second round.
However, he is expected to get drafted at some point and there seems to be a large number of teams interested in him. He has already seen the Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he will visit the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday and the San Diego Chargers on Wednesday, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Ogbah has shown he is more than worthy to have a spot on a NFL roster after going on a tear through the Big 12. He was named the co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year along with Baylor’s Andrew Billings last season.
He finished the 2015 season with 12.5 sacks, 16.5 tackles for loss, and a school record 19 quarterback hurries. He leaves the Cowboys with 28 career sacks.
At the 2016 Draft Combine, Emmanuel Ogbah had a good showing. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds, bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times and had a 35-inch vertical leap.
Any team would be lucky to have a player like the former Oklahoma State standout.
