Former San Jose State running back Tyler Ervin is one of the better athletes that is not being talked in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has been working his way up some draft boards and could end up being one of the more surprising picks to come out of the draft this year.
It looks like at least one team is interested in the former Spartan and it is a team that could keep him in the state of California. According to Tom Pelissero of USA TODAY Sports, Ervin is visiting the Los Angeles Rams at some point today.

Right now, Ervin is hoping to get picked up in the fourth or fifth round. He could make a huge impact for the Rams not only giving Todd Gurley a break on the field, but in the special teams game as well.
During his career at San Jose State, Tyler Ervin rushed for over 2,800 yards and 19 touchdowns, caught passes for 783 yards and four touchdowns, and returned punts and kicks for over 2,500 yards and five total touchdowns.
There is no question that he is looking like a player that could end up making a lot of noise in the NFL if he is given the right shot. Could he be a big piece for the Rams in their return to California?
