Some of the most shocking news in the sports world that is still being felt over a week later is the shooting death of former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith. It looks like his family is very thankful for all the support they received following his untimely and tragic death.
Smith’s family took to the local newspaper and decided to buy a full page ad.
The ad was printed in Wednesday morning’s issues of both the New Orleans Times-Picayune and the New Orleans Advocate.

Will Smith is one of the best players to ever take the field for the Saints and it was reported that he was going to be introduced as a member of the team’s Hall of Fame later this year. He will always be remembered for his positive attitude off the field and his great play on the field.
