Kentucky Wildcats fans will have to move on to next season without star Tyler Ulis, who has declared for the 2016 NBA Draft. Unfortunately for a seven-year-old fan, Ella Anderson, the news was especially crushing because he was her favorite player.

Ulis ended up catching wind of the video and he eventually got the chance to personally meet with the young fan, according to Kentucky Sports Radio. Ulis was touched by the video and used it to show why he still appreciates Kentucky fans.
To make things even greater for Ella, she got to take a photo with Ulis showered in Kentucky gear and she even got to meet his father.

What a great gesture by Ulis. It’s great to see he will always appreciate being a Wildcat. And it looks like Ella may just need to wait a few months before deciding on her favorite NBA team.
