Jared Goff is one of the best quarterbacks available in the 2016 NFL Draft and he is expected to be one of the top two players off the board next week. Because of the hype surrounding Goff, he signed with Nike on Wednesday.
Nike announced the signing with a pretty creative video. It was a cartoon that showed off highlights from his performance in the Armed Forces Bowl where Goff threw for 467 yards and six touchdowns and led the team to a 55-36 win over the Air Force Falcons.
Nike is one of the biggest brands in the world today and even sponsors the NFL’s uniforms. Goff signing with them is a huge deal and could lead to large paychecks over the course of his career.
Jared Goff will go down as the best quarterback in Cal’s history and he is looking to become one of the league’s best quarterbacks over the next few years.
