Recently, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones was slammed by an NFL scout who compared him to one of the biggest NFL draft busts of all time. The scout said that Jones gave him the impression of a “poor man’s JaMarcus Russell,” and went on to say that Jones didn’t even have as much “touch” as the former LSU quarterback, and that his mechanics were “all over the place.”
Thursday, ESPN’s First Take covered Jones, and spoke about him as a prospect in this year’s NFL Draft. They mentioned the nasty comment that the scout had made, and it appears that the Buckeyes quarterback was tuned in.
Jones fired back after the segment, and released this pair of tweets:
I see @stephenasmith got my back💯 would love to have a personal conversation about these last couple topics & statements made about me.

Yeezy said it best "everybody go say something, I'll start worrying when they say nothing" 😤
