Bradley Hayes gets extra year of eligibility

The Georgetown Hoyas are looking to get back to prominence in the Big East after missing the 2016 NCAA Tournament. They will get a big piece of their frontcourt back as center Bradley Hayes has earned an extra season of eligibility.

The school announced on Friday that he would be able to return this season for a final season of eligibility. He broke his hand in February, causing him to miss six games before returning for the Big East tournament.

Hayes had a pretty good showing for the Hoyas last season as he averaged 21.4 minutes, 8.7 points, and 6.7 rebounds per game. This could be a big deal for the Hoyas as they look to compete in the conference this season.

The Hoyas will also add Robert Morris transfer Rodney Pryor for next season. His presence paired with Bradley Hayes could be exactly what the team needs to compete.
