This Pittsburgh Pirates fan will go down as one of the coolest dads of the year.
On Friday, the Pirates edged the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field, but the real highlight of the game came when Diamondbacks catcher Wellington Castillo smacked the ball out of the park.
Unfortunately for Castillo, the home run did not make a difference on the final scoreboard.
It did, however, give us a special moment because the man who caught the ball is in contention for Dad of the Year. Rather than panicking, the cool-headed father reached up and snagged the ball with one hand.
If that wasn’t cool enough, he did all of that while holding his baby.
Color me impressed.
