At 76 years old, Jack Nickalus still has some serious skill. Nickalus played in the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf event this weekend at Big Cedar Lodge’s Par-3 and showed he’s still competitive.
At the 8th hole, Nickalus hit a shot that came to rest just inches from the cup. The ball hit the flag and bounced just a few inches away from the hole. He then threw down his club in disbelief, as anyone would after being robbed of a hole-in-one.
It doesn't get much better than this. Jack Nicklaus almost makes an ace @BassProLegends. https://t.co/b4WId5Otau

Nickalus competed alongside Gary Player and Hale Irwin this weekend at Big Cedar. Nickalus recorded 18 major championship titles and 73 total wins in his 25 year career. He retired from professional golf in 2005 after final appearances at The Open Championship and the Masters Tournament.
In retirement Nickalus has contributed to course design and various charity work. He is a member of American Society of Golf Course Architects and hosts his own tournament, The Memorial Tournament.
