After leaving LSU, Jevonte Domond lands at UTSA

The LSU Tigers lost a big piece of their recruiting staff this offseason when running backs coach Frank Wilson left to take the head coaching job at UTSA. Now, it looks like former Tiger offensive lineman Jevonte Domond will join Wilson with the Roadrunners.

According to Rivals.com, Domond decided to transfer to UTSA after spending two years with the Tigers.

There has been no official word from LSU, but Domond had made the decision to transfer a month ago.

Jevonte Domond came to LSU as a junior college transfer in 2014, playing four total games in the last two years. He was the subject of a pretty serious off-field incident when he was arrested for felony domestic abuse with his ex-fiancee in May of last year.

He was suspended indefinitely, but reinstated just two months later. It looks like he gets the chance to start things anew with the Roadrunners later this year.
