This year’s NFL Draft is in Chicago for the second year in a row, but a new location could be in the works for 2017. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Philadelphia could be a favorite to host the big event next year.
Philadelphia has emerged as leading candidate to host 2017 NFL Draft, per sources. NFL considering Philly, LA – neither has a 1 next year.

Though the Philadelphia Eagles do not have a first-round pick next year, there’s no doubt that it hosting the draft would be great for the league. The City of Brotherly Love is home to one of the most rabid fan bases in the country and even though the Eagles don’t have a first-round pick next year, at least not yet, there’s no doubt that the venue hosting the event would be packed to the gills, especially how Philadelphia is within driving distance of both Washington, DC and New York City, both of which are home to storied NFL franchises.
