For all the crazy things that Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has done over the last year, he is still just a normal middle-aged man for the most part. That is probably why he decided to join the Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament later this summer.
He was seen cheering on some of the best players in the world at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament back in February and mlive.com reported that Harbaugh would hit the course in July for the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. The official field has not yet been reported, but it isn’t his first time at this event as he played there as a quarterback in the NFL in the late 1990s.
Jim Harbaugh will be also joined by Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly. As for some other celebrities in the field, comedian Larry The Cable Guy, former Chicago Bears quarterback Jim McMahon, and former vice president Dan Quayle are just a few names that have been confirmed to be competing in the tournament.
The tournament will air live on July 22 on the NBC Sports Network from 6-8 p.m. EST, and on July 23 and 24 on NBC from 3-6 p.m. EST.
