The San Francisco 49ers were looking to pick up a big player in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft and after they lost out on a quarterback, they went to the other side of the ball. They went with a former Oregon Duck and selected defensive end DeForest Buckner.
This does not come as a huge surprise as new head coach Chip Kelly loves to take former Ducks. Taking a pig player like Buckner is a big pickup for the 49ers.

During his career with the Ducks, DeForest Buckner recorded 36 tackles for loss and 18 sacks. His six-foot-seven frame should help him be a dominant piece in their front seven.
