Former NBA player Luke Walton is now the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers and as a way of saying congratulations, his father and Hall of Fame center Bill posted the following picture to Twitter.
Who would have ever thought that little Luke Walton would be the head coach of the Lakers, so happy for him pic.twitter.com/DjBQA4jnYe

That’s quite the baby picture, from the typical 1980s haircut to the trucker cap. Either way, it’s a great accomplishment for Luke Walton, who played eight seasons for the Lakers and won two championship rings playing under the legendary Phil Jackson as a reserve forward.
Walton then went into coaching, spending last season as an assistant on the Golden State Warriors and winning a third ring. He also coached Golden State for the first half of this season as head coach Steve Kerr recovered from back surgery and went 39-4, though those games were credited to Kerr under NBA bylaws.
Simply put, Bill Walton has every reason in the world to be a proud papa right now and if that means embarrassing his son with a baby picture, so be it!
