SEC Network’s ‘Star Wars Day’ post celebrates Nick Saban’s four national championships

The SEC has been dominated by Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide since he came to the school in 2007. He has led the team to four national championships, including this year’s win over the Clemson Tigers in the 2016 College Football Playoff championship game.

The SEC Network decided to celebrate every nerd’s favorite day, “Star Wars Day,” on Wednesday by posting a cool picture to Instagram. The post celebrated Saban’s national championships with the Crimson Tide.

It is hard to believe that Nick Saban wouldn’t be considered the Darth Vader of the SEC since he has ruled over the conference for some time now. With the way things have gone, could new Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, who worked under Saban for years, be the Luke Skywalker of the conference and be ready to take down the ultimate emperor?

May the 4th be with you, everyone.
