Cardale Jones spent three seasons at Ohio State, but it is his sophomore year that will be most memorable for him and Buckeye fans. He came in as the third-string quarterback in place of Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett and led the team to the Big Ten Championship, Sugar Bowl championship, and a win in the national championship over Oregon.
Jones started off the 2015 season in the driver’s seat with the Buckeyes before being usurped by Barrett just a few games into the year.
That didn’t stop him as he finished the year strong and entered the 2016 NFL Draft, where he was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round.
On Thursday, Jones took to Twitter and posted a tweet with four photos highlighting his time with the Buckeyes. It was a sweet and emotional thank you from the hopeful NFL starter.

Cardale Jones’s time with the Buckeyes wasn’t very long, but it was successful. He hopes to take that same winning attitude to the Bills as he looks to bring them back to prominence and hopefully to the playoffs for the first time since 1999, the longest drought in the NFL today.
