Spelling can be hard, but as TCU learned, there are more acceptable times than others to make some mistakes. One of the times you should probably try to avoid making minor spelling errors is during an event where paying students are supposed to be proud of the education they received over the past few years.
Unfortunately for the university, a spelling error popped up on the commencement program.

Whoops.
It was an honest mistake, but one that shouldn’t ever happen. After all, that’s what proofreaders are for.
