New Pittsburgh Panthers head men’s basketball coach Kevin Stallings has added an impressive talent to the 2017 recruiting class. On Saturday, it was reported that three-star point guard Aaron Thompson, one of the most talented players in the state of Virginia, has committed to the Panthers.

Thompson becomes the first player to commit to Pitt’s 2017 class.
The 6-foot-2, 175 pounder also had interest in Connecticut, Maryland, Villanova and many others.
