Paxton Lynch skips practice to attend graduation

When you are a big time college athlete, you are usually looking to get to the professional level of your sport. If that doesn’t work out, you just hope to finish your degree and start your career elsewhere and Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch has achieved both of those goals.

Lynch was selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft a little over a week ago and he was with the team on Friday for rookie minicamp.

However, he skipped the practice on Saturday, but with good reason as he attended his graduation from the University of Memphis.

Paxton Lynch left his mark on the Memphis Tigers as he threw for nearly 9,000 yards and 59 touchdowns in three seasons with the team. Now, he is looking to make another mark as he takes the field with the defending Super Bowl champions this season.
