Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide are looking to fill the team’s vacant defensive line coach position, after the resignation of Bo Davis, who was in the middle of a recent recruiting controversy.
According to multiple reports, the leading candidate for the position and the man many believe will become the next Alabama defensive line coach is Karl Dunbar.
Dunbar, an assistant with NFL coaching experience, previously worked with Saban as the strength and conditioning coach for the LSU Tigers in 2000 and 2001. He has also bounced around as an assistant at the highest level with the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.
Given his experience in the NFL and past relationship with Saban, the hiring of Karl Dunbar seems like a no-brainer.
