The Loyal Prince: Prince Harry overcoming media in a respectful way

The popular media has made it a cottage industry to highlight the youthful indiscretions of Prince Harry and portray him as the  “Party Prince” or the “Playboy Prince.” What is less sensational, but a more accurate assessment of his character, is his devoted sponsorship of and participation in the Invictus Games.

Fighting alongside his fellow soldiers in Afghanistan, a duty rarely permitted by modern royal houses, Prince Harry developed a deep sense of brotherhood in the military.

His combat experiences are what led him to remain fiercely loyal to his injured comrades and inspired him to launch the Invictus Games.

Everyone who watched Prince Harry interact with the wounded soldiers at the games this year recognized that the Prince demonstrates genuine camaraderie and is a full-fledged member of the brotherhood of warriors.
