Hutchinson CC forward Keanu Pinder commits to Arizona

The Arizona Wildcats have picked up a talented front court player from the community college level, with Hutchinson CC forward Keanu Pinder announcing his commitment to Sean Miller’s program over the weekend.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years,” Pinder wrote on Twitter, “especially Randy Livingston and my parents for always being there for me! I am on to the next chapter of my life and I have officially signed to play basketball at the University of Arizona. I can’t wait to get started.”

Last season, Pinder was a key player for Hutchinson as they reached the NJCAA Division 1 championship game.

Pinder averaged 10.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. It will be interesting to see how the 6-foot-8 forward performs playing in the Pac-12 once he finds his way onto the court.
