The 2016 NBA Draft Lottery is being held in New York tonight, with non-playoff teams vying for the No. 1 overall pick. Former NBA star Dikembe Mutombo is one of the many basketball fans excited for tonight’s events, but he may have gotten a little ahead of himself.
Hours before the lottery even took place, Mutombo sent out a congratulatory tweet to the Philadelphia 76ers.
There is only one problem: the team doesn’t hold the pick… yet.

Philadelphia enters tonight’s lottery with the greatest chance — 25 percent — at claiming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Whether they actually win the lottery remains to be seen, but maybe Mutombo really knows the draft’s deepest secrets and the fix is in. Let the NBA conspiracy nuts have a field day with this one.
