Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide football team has an unwanted situation on their hands, after star offensive tackle and potential 2017 No. 1 overall pick Cam Robinson was arrested on weapons and possession charges, along with defensive back Hootie Jones early Tuesday morning.
Robinson and Jones were slapped with a number of charges, including felony illegal possession of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana.
It is not a situation head coach Nick Saban wanted to deal with, but he released a statement on Tuesday afternoon.
Nick Saban “aware" of situation w/ Hootie Jones & Cam Robinson; "in process of gathering facts to determine what action needs to be taken"

Once all of the necessary facts are collected, it looks like Saban and the Crimson Tide will figure out how to handle the discipline.
Considering the severity of the charges and how long of a legal process could be ahead for the two players, it would not be surprising to see a statement made by the program with a stern suspension.
