This weekend, UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic surprised the mixed martial arts world by scoring a devastating first-round knockout over Fabricio Werdum to claim the title.
Immediately after Miocic’s victory, he shared his hopes that his championship win would end the title drought in his hometown of Cleveland. Since then, Miocic has been embraced by the city and all of the local professional franchises.
Miocic is set to be a special guest at the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Game 1 matchup with the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday night, but first he stopped by the ballpark.
Cleveland’s newest star joined the Indians for batting practice this afternoon and showed off his skills on the diamond. Not only is Miocic able to knockout his opponents in the Octagon, he is able to knock the ball out of the park.

Will the Cavaliers, Indians and — the biggest longshot — Browns follow Miocic’s lead and bring titles to Cleveland in 2016? The pressure is on.
