The LSU Tigers have been known for having some of the better offensive linemen in the country every year and the 2017 season might not be too different. They landed their second four-star offensive linemen commit when Austin Deculus announced him commitment to the Baton Rouge school.
The four-star tackle out of Cypress, Texas announced his commitment on Friday as he becomes the eighth commit for the Tigers’ recruiting class. He joins four-star lineman Edward Ingram as the team’s second offensive lineman commit.
“It’s just always been my dream since I was little,” Deculus told Rivals about playing for LSU. “The offense that they run suits me well; they just line up and smash you in the mouth every play.”
The Tigers are in line to lose a good bit of players following the 2016 season, but they have already built a strong recruiting class for next year. Their class includes five-star and top-ten defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin, four-star ATH Patrick Queen, and four-star quarterback Lowell Narcisse.
Austin Deculus should add a strong presence for the Tigers on the offensive line next year.
