As the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw their names from consideration for the 2016 NBA Draft is rapidly approaching. The latest player to announce they would remove their name from the draft and return to school is Iowa Hawkeyes guard Peter Jok.
The 6-foot-6 guard’s decision was announced by the university this week.
Jok will now return to the team for his senior, providing head coach Fran McCaffery’s squad some quality veteran leadership on the court.
Last season, Jok finished the year as a second-team All-Big Ten selection, averaging 16.1 points a game.
