Rory McIlroy just clinched the European Tour’s Irish Open with a shot of the year candidate. At the par-5 18th hole, McIlroy nailed a remarkable 253-yard approach shot to set up the tournament-clinching eagle.
Entering the final hole, McIlroy held a one-stroke lead.
