On Monday, it was reported that Annie Apple, the mother of New York Giants first-round pick Eli Apple, was set to join ESPN’s Sunday NFL Morning Countdown for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
After news surfaced, Apple took to Twitter to confirm the news in a perfect way.
For those who haven’t been following, Annie Apple has been the greatest NFL mom to ever come along. She has been sharing some great knowledge for young players and making hilarious comments on social media that actually prove to be sound advice.
So, when she announced her new ESPN role, she did so with a brilliant wise crack that her newly found following can appreciate.
I am beyond excited to be joining the ESPN family and quite honestly, happier than a Kardashian in an NBA locker room. #Blessed

It’s going to be amazing to see how Annie Apple performs on ESPN, but we shouldn’t expect anything than her usual engaging, charming and knowledgeable self.
